A Few Things to Know, Before You Start...

  • U.S. citizens traveling to Indonesia for tourism, family visits, or certain short-term business activities may be eligible to apply for an Indonesia Electronic Visa (e-Visa).

  • The e-Visa allows eligible travelers to complete the application online before departure, making arrival in Indonesia faster and more convenient. Applying in advance can help reduce airport wait times and simplify the immigration process.

Validity and Length of Stay

For eligible travelers, the Indonesia e-Visa generally allows an initial stay of up to 30 days and may be extended one time for an additional 30 days, for a maximum stay of 60 days, subject to Indonesian immigration regulations. The permitted activities and duration depend on the visa category issued.
